Barry is a familiar figure in and around the Melbourne country music scene. For many years he has supported country music as a Promoter, Manager and venue operator. He managed bands such as 'The Rip Rawers', 'Mick and The Aces', Indian country artist 'Bobby Cash' and many others. He also successfully ran venues such as the Rebel Room at the Tottenham Hotel, Southern Star Saloon Bar, Edens Gardens and the Redback Club South Melbourne Football ground.
