Over six months after its official release, Lee Kernaghan’s latest Hit album, Beautiful Noise is the #1 Australian Artist release on this week’s ARIA Album Sales Charts across all genres.

Beautiful Noise features the #1 Australian Country Singles ‘Beautiful Noise’ and ‘Ute Me’ and the album’s latest single ‘Flying With The King’, which has already climbed to #4 on the CMC Top 30 Countdown.

Two and a half weeks ago, a “Deluxe Tour Edition” of Beautiful Noise was released to coincide with Lee Kernaghan’s Beautiful Noise National Tour. This 18 Track and 9 Video CD/DVD package features special guest appearances from The Wolfe Brothers, Colt Ford, Craig Lowndes and more.

Beautiful Noise has now also achieved GOLD sales.

Lee said “I want to take this opportunity to thank the fans for supporting the entire Beautiful Noise project. We are having so much fun on the road this year playing the album live to sold-out houses around the country. But I have to say seeing the Beautiful Noise album jump back up to the charts to be the #1 Australian album this week is just amazing.”

Tomorrow night (June 13) Lee Kernaghan will appear at the Slim Dusty Birthday Bash at Rooty Hill RSL.

On what would have been his 86th birthday, Kernaghan, Kasey Chambers & Shane Nicholson, The McClymonts, Adam Harvey, The Wolfe Brothers and The Adam Eckersley Band are coming together to perform a special charity event in aid of raising funds for Slim’s final legacy, The Slim Dusty Centre, located in Kempsey, NSW.

The Beautiful Noise Tour, featuring special guests The Wolfe Brothers, then continues from July 19 through August with shows in Nowra, Canberra, Grafton, Coffs Harbour, Port Macquarie, Forster, Bundaberg, Rockhampton, Mackay, Townsville, Penrith and Newcastle.
