Modern Country singer/songwriter Will Day has had an exciting start to 2016, recently returning from a successful trip to the Sunshine Coast after opening up for Shannon Noll at his two Queensland shows. The year started with Will playing 10 shows at Tamworth’s Country Music Festival then quickly moved onto opening for Diesel, The Whitlams and Icehouse at Sandstone Point Hotel in Queensland.

Originally from Goondiwindi, Will Day moved to Brisbane to study Music and completed his Bachelor in 2011 majoring in contemporary vocals. Since then with hard work, passion and dedication he has worked as a full time musician playing 4-5 nights a week.

In recent years Will has enjoyed opening for country music artists such as Morgan Evans, The Col Finley Band and The Viper Creek Band. Col Finley, one of Australia’s best country music artists describes Will’s talent: “Will Day is a true songsmith with the ability to capture his audience in the stories he sings, a true gentlemen of today’s hard music industry, there are exciting times ahead for Will Day and his music.”
