Carpenter Caswell, are a new duo, but in name only. Allan Caswell is an Australian artist that needs no introduction. Arguably Australia’s most recorded songwriter in any genre, his career spans over 4 decades in the country music world. As an artist his much celebrated career continues to evolve, including this collaboration with Michael Carpenter. Carpenter himself is no stranger to the Australian music scene. A singer-songwriter/ multi-instrumentalist/ producer-engineer with well over 3 decades of involvement in the industry, he’s no slouch in the experience department. Together they’ve created the duo’s debut album, being launched at the Wesley Anne. The album showcases the duo’s unique interpretation of ‘Austracana’ - Australian Alternative Country music. With everything from classic old school country sounds, to bluegrass, to folk, to straight down the line country rock, the album (including 3 top ten singles), and the show they’ve put together to showcase it, takes the audience on a trip through the creative minds of 2 great Australian songwriters, and the way they see the world after a few years of being in it!
