The Davidson Brothers live and breathe bluegrass. Making music together for over 20 years, Hamish and Lachlan grew up in the rural Victorian town of Yinnar and have firmly carved their contemporary style into the Australian music scene. Having toured the United states and Europe, the boys appeared on the Ryman Auditorium in 2010.
Their outstanding musicianship and ability to entertain has seen the 3-time Golden Guitar winning brothers recently release their seventh studio album “Wanderlust” in June 2014 which contains 10 original tracks recorded in Melbourne featuring their live band Jacob McGuffie on acoustic guitar and Louis Gill on upright bass.
Well known for their high powered pickin, fine vocal harmonies and classic humour, the Davidson Brothers are National Bluegrass champions on various string instruments and they lead the way for the current acoustic-roots music revival in this country.
