The Scrims are going on a “Scrimtacular” East Coast tour this September starting in hometown of Melbourne, and heading North to visit Brisbane, Gold Coast and Cairns. Blending Bluegrass, Jazz, Country and Folk to create original songs about the excitement of new romance, loneliness, and the enjoyment of being by the seaside, The Scrims play at a bombastic pace in combination with their voices in order to form a rollicking billy-cart ride of a sound.

The Scrims have had notable gigs such as Woodford Folk Festival, Illawarra Folk Festival, Warrandyte Festival, Falls Festival, The Hills Are Alive Festival, Cygnet Folk Festival and performed as part of the Melbourne Fringe and Comedy Festivals.

Joined by Brisbane quartet The Long Johns, with a tincture of spooky country and barnyard bangers, we are soooo excited to play out bush at Sooki Lounge
