Supported by Abbie Ferris and Iain Archibald Band ---Hayley Jensen is an artist whose vocal abilities place her in elite company within Australian Country Music.Growing up in regional Australia, Hayley was initially attracted to the honest storytelling and authenticity of Country Music. Her musical journey has been eclectic, bursting onto the scene through Australian Idol and The Voice; she has explored her range as an artist, ultimately returning to the genre that launched her career. The singer-songwriter who now calls Sydney home has experienced a breakout 18-month period with her album ‘Past Tense and Present Peace’, achieving her first iTunes #1 chart position. During this time, Jensen released four singles with all music videos appearing in high rotation on the Country Music Channel (CMC). Each release has charted higher than the previous, with her most recent summer hit ‘Summertime Soundtrack’ in the Top 20 of CMC, reaching #4 in the KIX Top 20 and #1 on Australian Country Radio chart. 'Summertime Soundtrack' has now achieved over 80,000 streams since being added to the ‘Fresh Country’ Playlist on Spotify and the music video has now eclipsed an impressive 100,000 views online. Her hard-work has been rewarded with a Southern Stars Rising Female Artist Award, and she has recently been announced as a Finalist in Country Music Channel Awards ‘New Artist of the Year’ category for 2018. With her current single still on the rise, Hayley is set to release a brand new single, an ultimate party track ‘Saturday Night’ on March 26 2018 with her record ‘Turning Up The Dial’ to hit the shelves on May 11, followed by a launch tour. ‘Turning Up the Dial’ is an album created on Hayley’s terms, in every sense of the word. Jensen wrote or co-wrote every song. Each an authentic representation of where she is at right now – in love, up beat, happy and full of life. Hayley co-wrote with the 'cream of the crop' of international award-winning songwriters both here in Australia and in the USA including Phil Barton (USA), Jerry Salley (USA), Alex Seier (USA) and Kirsty-Lee Akers to name a few. 'Turning Up The Dial' was produced with Grammy and Emmy Award winning producer Jamie Tate at The Rukkus Room, and this is the first album of hers to be produced in the USA. “I’ve never felt more excited about releasing a collection of songs and stories, and I can’t wait for you to hear them. But when you do, remember to turn up the dial!” – Hayley Jensen
