KYLIE'S "LITTLE STONE" TOUR COMES TO GRIFFITH:
National radio host and Kross Kut Records recording artist Kylie Adams-Collier is the special guest at this months Griffith Country Music Muster.
Kylie is currently on tour with her new Kross Kut Records album" LITTLE STONE "
Already this year Kylie has showcased her album at the Tamworth Country Music Festival , Longhorn Festival, Kempton Festival in Tasmania and recently at the Willaston Country Music Club concert in South Australia thanks to Ray Cockshell.
Her tour will continue with more musters and festivals throughout the year and she is very much looking forward to performing in Griffith.
Griffith Country Music Muster will also feature walk up artists on the day aswell as popular local artist Lawrence Barlow and band.
Kylie has been writing and performing songs for over thirty years. She was the Tamworth Songwriters Association Salute Awards finalist and Semi finalist in 2017 for gospel song of the year from her album " Sweet Dreams til Morning."
Kylie reached #2 on the Country Tracks Top 40 Charts with her duet with Justin Standley " Waiting for Heaven to Rain" and the top 30 with her other singles " Goodbye Dear Tamworth " and " Sweet Dreams til Morning "
Capitol Country Music Association songwriting finalist in 2001 and 2015, Dubbo Summerfest John P Toomey songwriting finalist in 2016 and 2017 Bedgerabong Country Music Campout poet writer winner, Kylie's writing is becoming is becoming recognised in the Country Music family.
Kylie will perform her latest single " Younger in Urunga" from her latest album" Little Stone " recorded with award winning Lindsay Waddington on Kross Kut records.
"Younger in Urunga " debuted at #7 on the national charts and is in it's second month in the Top 20. It is also #3 on the Tasmanian Country Music charts.
Kylie will be performing more original songs on the day to promote her album including a song she wrote about her last adventures in Whitton entitled " Backyard Trucking Fire."
Kylie will also be singing some classics to dance to with popular local country legend Lawrence Barlow and his band.
Kylie will have albums for sale on the day.
50 cents from each "LITTLE STONE " album sale is being donated to the Papua New Guinea Association of Australia to help raise awareness of the Monevideo Maru.
