In keeping with The Retreat’s love of original music, we’ve decided to host an intimate evening of music and chatter in the Front Bar. Hosted by Brooke Russell and Mitch Power, the two will chat to Lachlan Bryan about all things songwriting, music, performing, touring and everything in between. Lachlan and his band The Wildes have spent the last three years traversing the highways of Australia and the USA, picking up gongs at The Age Music Victoria Awards and The Golden Guitars along the way.

New album The Mountain is heavily influenced by the band's time in New Orleans and has picked up another Golden Guitar nomination for the upcoming awards. Whilst Lachlan fully expects to lose that one to Shane Nicholson - he's looking forward to the more important task of chatting to us about songs, songwriters and life on the road. Following the chat Lachlan will play a solo set to see the evening out. Retreat Hotel, 8:30pm. Free Entry.
