Welcome to another year is here!  The dates for The 29th Annual Illabo Country Music Stampede are 14th to 17th April 2016.

If you have not been to The Stampede before, the Stampede is mainly a talent quest  where anyone from the age of 5 and up can sing on a professional stage with the talented backing band,  The Vintage Four.We have camping areas galore but limited powered sites and an atmosphere that we think is second to no other talent Quest.  Give Karen a call to book powered sites.

We kick off on Thursday night with the Galloping Grannies kitchen offering some of the best homemade soup to help ward of the night chills, whilst you enjoy the campfire sing-a-long.Meals can be purchased at the grounds over the weekend with home made goodies made by real grannies.

On Friday afternoon we have The Music Workshop in the hall for all those wanting to polish their stage presence. The Veterans and Walk-ups commence at 6pm with sign-ups, for the walk-ups, starting around 5pm.

New to Saturday the day begins with a Bush Poets Breaky from 7 – 8.30 am. Then the  Talent quest commencing at 9.00am and it is a pleasure to watch all the contestants showcasing their talents for a place in the finals on Sunday.On Sunday we see the finalists battle it out for one of the coveted trophies.  On top of all this talent we also have our Guest Artists entertaining throughout the day as well. This year we have Dean Perrett, Anita Ree and for the first time a third guest Kevin Harris.

Bring your caravan/ tent or just grab your swag and remember your guitar and come join us, with the family, at The Illabo Country Music Stampede.

A special award of 4 hours recording time will be donated by Grant Luhrs of Flying Fox Recording Studio.

We have the markets on Sunday so have a little space left in your car or van  for all the goodies that you will find.
