Well-known Roots music King, Andy Baylor, has been playing his hybrid brand of extremely danceable Cajun music to enthusiastic audiences around  bars, backyards concert halls and festivals for many a year…he has visited the swamplands of Southern Louisiana, U.S.A. on several pilgrimages and has brought back the feel, the rhythm and the musical nuance which makes Cajun music so appealing .

“It’s a reel of joy, a funky mix of  African beats, ancient fiddle tunes, blues and boogie, exotic French Creole culture, good times and beautiful music” says Andy.
Andy has brought together some of Melbourne’s finest exponents of Cajun-styled music and will be hosting THE BIG SOUTHERN CAJUN DANCE PARTY at the famous CARAVAN MUSIC CLUB …out in the bayous and ‘burbs of OAKLEIGH… Come for dinin’ and drinkin’, dancin’ and romancin’, settin’ and listenin’….there’ll be waltzes and two-steps, Blues and Boogie Woogie, Fiddle reels and Accordion stomps.
