Kaylee Bell’s new single and video ‘Unglamorous’ is released to radio and TV this week. Taken from her debut album Wayward, Kaylee is set to win over many new fans. With Kaylee’s rich, distinct vocals, ‘Unglamorous’ has smash hit written all over it.

Written by Lori McKenna and Liz Rose, ‘Unglamorous’ is a song that many ladies with can relate to. Kaylee says, "I love the song lyrically as I was raised in a family with an extraordinary strong mother and we were taught strong values and how to appreciate the little things in life"

It was these values that gave Kaylee a craving for country music that dates back to her earliest memories, Kaylee Bell’s singing career started at the tender age of 4 on a country music awards show. Her debut album WAYWARD is evidence to this appetite, which has been cultivated and developed constantly since that day.

Growing up in the small town of Waimate on the South Island of NZ, Kaylee started developing her talents from a young age. Performing at country music award shows all over New Zealand with her siblings, Kaylee had a very hectic childhood with guitar and singing lessons, school band, productions and chorales. This set the attitude that Kaylee holds today with her music career. “I love country music; it’s my heart and soul. I’m pretty determined to follow this dream as it’s what I’ve always wanted to do; it’s what I have always done. Country music is in my blood” says Kaylee.

Gaining motivation along the years from artists such as Leann Rimes, Sheryl Crow, Keith Urban, Martina McBride, Jo Dee Messina and Eva Cassidy, Kaylee’s hunger saw her take on musical theatre studies for 3 years at the National Academy of Singing and Dramatic Art and earned her a Bachelor of Performing Arts degree specialising in Musical Theatre.

"At the age of 22 and after years spent growing as an artist, I decided to pack my bags and head across the Tasman" says Kaylee. “I relocated to Australia in April 2011, I ended up in Bathurst and I love it here in this rural setting. It has a great pub gig scene and it's close to Sydney."

Kaylee Bell is a determined young lady with high ambitions. “I dream of opening a tour with a big international act, I would love lots of people to discover my music, but most of all I want to continue to grow as an artist and make this a full time career.”

Kaylee Bell is standing determinedly at the front of the pack of country music’s new breed of female artists. Could Australia’s next international country music star be another Kiwi?

The Semaphore Music Festival presents South Australian Indigenous and non-Indigenous Contemporary Music acts considered outstanding by industry professional standards in an ideal historic seaside village setting.

Located in the Western Suburbs only 20 minutes from the CBD and the airport, the Semaphore Music Festival gives audiences and bands access to an authentic cultural experience that deepens our appreciation of the vibrant talent performing in the SA contemporary music sector today. The Semaphore Music Festival has built a reputation promoting singer songwriters on the crest of their careers, breaking down attitudes towards alt country/folk/ roots/blues and original live contemporary music.

Held annually (since 2005) over the October Labour Day Long Weekend, the Semaphore Music Festival is fashioned on music festivals like Tamworth. Over the last eight years the SMF has developed a niche market with its own flavour, texture, and character reflecting the diversity in the independent live music community. It is scheduled to coincide with school holidays encouraging music lovers from regional communities and interstate to travel to Adelaide especially for this event.

The SMF is a pivotal event on the South Australian and Australian music festival calendar. It is recognised nationally by musicians and music fans alike because it actively promotes original songwriters to the broader community. Singer songwriters develop their skills through master classes, APRA sponsored panel discussions, workshops, forums and performances giving established artists the opportunity to share their creative process with emerging artists and fans.

Forums including The Adelaide Ukulele Appreciation Society workshop give the audience and artists an interactive experience and the opportunity to explore different types of instruments. The Semaphore Music Festival includes Music Instrument Makers Exhibition, Luthiers’ Panel, Record Fair, Guitar Workshops, and Buskers stages.

AUSTRALIA'S GOT TALENT FINALISTS - THE WOLFE BROTHERS SIGN WITH STEPHEN WHITE MANAGEMENT & SECURE SUPPORT DATES FOR 2013 WITH LEE KERNAGHAN.

The Wolfe Brothers captured the attention and support of the entire nation when they were voted in to second

place winners on the recent series Final of Australia's Got Talent. The lads from Hobart Tasmania wowed the

national television audience week after week performing their own songs and delivering blistering live

performances that converted Australia to their fresh, modern country rock sound.

The group has just announced it has been signed by one of Australia's leading country music management

companies, Stephen White Management [SWM]. SWM also manages the careers of Lee Kernaghan and The

McClymonts, two of Australia's most high profile country music acts.

Stephen White said today: "I am so excited about adding The Wolfe Brothers to my small and exclusive list of

clients. One of my criteria in signing an act is that they must be unique, credible and incredible. The Wolfe

Brothers are all these things. It is so important for the Australian country music genre to produce a country rock

outfit that has international potential to grow the fan base of our exciting industry here. These boys tick all the

boxes for me and I believe they are in for a great ride over the coming years."

Plans are now in place to release the Wolfe Brothers first album within the next couple of months and to

announce tour dates around Australia. Stephen White Management also announced today that The Wolfe

Brothers will be the special guests on the entire Lee Kernaghan national tour next year. Lee will be touring to

promote his October 19 release - the album Beautiful Noise -*‐ and The Wolfe Brothers will be at every show

being introduced to country music fans all over Australia.

Stephen White added: "The last time Lee saw an act that impressed him so much, that he wanted to take them

out on the road on his entire national tour, was when we saw The McClymonts in Tamworth when they were

first starting out before their first album was even recorded. After Lee checked out The Wolfe Brothers videos I

sent to him it was a similar reaction to when we first saw the girls perform, so I set up a meeting and Lee had a

jam with the band. Now they will not only be the special guests for the tour, but they will also make up a large

part of Lee's band on the tour."

Tom Wolfe said: "When we found ourselves in a rehearsal studio in Sydney with Lee, performing his songs and

he was actually singing with us, we had to seriously pinch ourselves to confirm this was all actually happening.

We have covered Lee's songs in bars, pubs and at parties for years. To look up and see the man with the hat

singing with us was completely surreal. Mum is one of his biggest fans. To now be going on tour with him as his

support act and then to play with him in his show is totally mind blowing. The experience we will gain from being

with Lee is priceless and we are so pumped about being able to get around Australia to thank all the people who

supported us on the show. We know the people from all over Australia who voted for us are the reason this

dream is coming true. They are the ones who voted us into the spotlight to make all this happen. We are the

same band who grew up together and who have been playing pubs around Tassie for years for a few hundred

bucks and some beer. Now we can make music our lives and profession. It is all just so exciting -*‐ we are bursting

at the seams to get out there and play. We are also so grateful to everyone in Tassie who have kept us going

over the years and who gave us the confidence to have a crack at auditioning for the show. This support will

never be forgotten".
