Widely regarded as the Outlaw of Australian Country Music, Tommy Miller stands and delivers a strong selection of old and new country, with a touch of rock’n’roll in his extensive repertoire. Winning the second annual Star Maker in Tamworth in 1980, Tommy released his first hit single, Hitchin’ A Ride and Imagine that, through RCA Records in 1981, followed by the album, Just Me. He has toured Queensland as a solo performer and joined the Brian Young Show, touring outback Australia in 1986. From 1986 till November 1995 Tommy was kept busy setting up his own recording and sequencing studio on the NSW Central Coast and in between studio work, made regular appearances as a soloist, in a duo, trio and with a band at various venues. In late 1995 he was signed to Outback Music in Sydney and a CD, Share It With You, was released on the Outback label. He once again toured the country, promoting its release. Now based in Tamworth, the Country Music Capital, Miller continues to tour, primarily as a solo artist. He released Country Classics Vol 1, in January 2000, Dealin’ Cards in 2002 and in 2007, Hits and Memories.
