Peter Rowan, “The Voice of Bluegrass”, returns to Australia with his Bluegrass Band, featuring Patrick Sauber (banjo, mandolin), Blaine Sprouse (fiddle), and Paul Knight (double bass). "Rowan is one of the greatest and most important of all the bluegrass players. He understands what he calls "the joy" of bluegrass and acoustic music" (Sydney Morning Herald). His beautiful singing is of the classic “high-lonesome” - the defining style of all bluegrass vocalists.

"Rowan is one of the greatest and most important of all the bluegrass players. He understands what he calls "the joy" of bluegrass and acoustic music, and, with wonderful artlessness, he insists that he is coming to Australia to do nothing more than "be a singer of songs and a player of tunes". His admirers know he will be much, much more than that." - Bruce Elder, Sydney Morning Herald

Renowned US Bluegrass singer-songwriter, guitarist, and Grammy winner, Peter Rowan, "The Voice of Bluegrass", returns to Australia with his Bluegrass Band, featuring Patrick Sauber (banjo, mandolin), Blaine Sprouse (fiddle), and Paul Knight (double bass).

Rowan is a true legend of American Bluegrass, a direct link to the father of Bluegrass, Bill Monroe, having been lead-singer in Monroe's band in the '60s. Following his time with Monroe went on to be part of such iconic and revolutionary bands as Seatrain, Earth Opera, Muleskinner, and Old & In The Way, with the likes of Jerry Garcia, David Grisman, Richard Greene, and Clarence White (from The Byrds).
