The Prairie Oysters was formed in Melbourne in 2005 by friends Rob Street (Drums) and Tony Bonnici (Bass). They wanted a side project to their other music commitments that would see them do a few gigs, have a few laughs and play music they loved. Dave Miles (Guitars) joined soon after and after their first few Melbourne gigs, it soon became apparent, that a lot of people liked what they did and the rest as they say is history.
