THE RETREAT AMERICANA SESSIONS Great Aunt is an alt-folk/Americana band from Melbourne, Australia, sharing songs that strike a unique and deliberate balance between the plaintive and the profoundly joyous, and draw inspiration from the most relatable parts of the human experience like grief, love, sadness, and joy.

In 2016, Great Aunt travelled to Nashville, Tennessee for an extended songwriting sojourn, and a series of gigs and showcase performances at local venues, including the world-famous Bluebird Café.
