Whistle Dixie

Whistle Dixie is a Newcastle based country, folk and bluegrass band who capture the traditions of these genres with their eclectic mix of original songs. Having formed in 2015 the band have already played supports for some of the country's premier acts such as The Whitlams, Phil Jamieson (Grinspoon) and Alex Lloyd. The band capture the sound and feel of early acts such as Hank Williams, Johnny & June Carter Cash through to Ms Dolly Parton. Whistle Dixie is a must see act and has received great reviews in the short time they have been together.
