The Danny Walsh Banned play music for your inner fugitive. They feature Johnny Livewire on bass (Morning After Girls), Dave Mudie on drums (Courtney Barnett), the untamed urban youth of Will Hewett on guitar, the unmatched bush experience of Leo 'The Weed' Tellefson on keys, and rambunctious feather-capped Danny Walsh (Miserable Little Bastards) out front. Along with storming the city juke joints an country halls, the Banned finds a natural stomping ground at festivals, previously tearing up the Kyneton Music Festival, Sydney Road Street Party, Williamstown Beer Festival and the Delta Busking Festival (Mississippi). Their performances are often spontaneous and always high-powered. In 2013, they released their debut album ‘Rolling On’, which received praises from Melbourne to Mississippi. Now they’re coming to town packing material from their newly released second album full of swampy blues, piano driven rock ’n’ roll and dead-set Aussie boogie - standby for the show!
