THE MUSICIANS & TIMES
*7pm-7:30pm: Urban Drover: is a band on a mission .... to be playing some of the best country rock/pop and alt country songs we can find .... as well as delving into the murky waters of Outlaw Country and just plain having fun with the music. Playing at venues around Canberra like the George Harcourt Inn, Rose Cottage, as well as private functions and charity events we are enjoying the opportunity to turn Canberra Country !

*7:45pm-8:15pm: : Ben Chan - is an acoustic solo performer bringing his own stylistic approach to songs we all know and love. Taking his inspiration from a plethora of iconic bands, he has formed a unique style of rock, country, pop and folk. A country boy at heart Ben grew up in Tamworth NSW. He is now in Canberra a city he has loved from the first moment! Heartfelt lyrics delivered with powerful vocals and raw acoustic guitar, taking you on an emotional roller-coaster through love, loss and awakening. Ben is sure to leave you wanting more.

*8:30pm-9pm: : The Tara Louise Duo: is a sizzling hot acoustic act featuring the soaring soulful vocals of Tara Louise who has made her mark as one of the hottest new vocal talents of Canberra’s Blues music scene and is sort after as one of Canberra top female corporate performers in a Smooth Operators.

Along-side Tara is the musical Genius of Bryan Williams, one of the best guitarists in the business, with a special place in his heart for the Blues. Bryan also works in a rocking 4 piece blues rock band The Levee and a covers band Top Shelf... tonight we welcome them both – The Tara Louise Duo.

*9:15pm- 9:45pm:. Betty Alto: A brand new band made of long time friends, here to serve you their original blend of pop and funk. Although a new project, the members of Betty Alto have been heavily involved in the music scene for more than a decade, forming integral parts of many notable Canberra bands including Beth and Ben, Brother Be and Dahahoo. Throughout this time they have shared the stage with many notable artists including Chris Issak and Augie March, and performed at countless festivals including the Woodford Folk Festival and the Canberra Enlighten Festival. It was only a matter of time until they teamed up. That time is now, and are poised to make an impact on the local music scene.

*10:00pm- 10:30pm: SAMI: SAMI is a singer/songwriter who captivates her audience with her approachable personality and natural stage presence. Her vocal ability is beyond her years and her song writing has been well recognised within the industry, winning many prestigious awards. Her debut album 'SAMI- Every Passing Minute' has sold over 800 copies since she started her full time Touring in the music industry in 2014. With hard work and dedication she has achieved so much in such a short time and has a lot more in store, just returning from a New Zealand Promotional Tour, a 5 week Inland Tour and in July flies over to Canada for a 6 week tour then returning to do a 5 week Queensland tour and everywhere in-between. SAMI’s music has taken her to many areas of the country, to see first-hand the effects from years of drought for our farmers, so SAMI is proud to be a part of these Drought Relief Concerts

*10:45pm-11:15pm: : The Feldons: have been described as "something very Ferry on the Mersey, or Beatlesque. Mention of Paul Weller does not quite nail the sound but there is an undertone of that British invasion rock and roll that was big in the sixties". BMA Magazine wrote of the band, "it would appear that these guys have been brought up on a diet of late 60s British pop, mid 70s American blues, yet at times, with a peculiar mid 90s britpop feel." They have played hundreds of gigs from Melbourne to Sydney and everywhere in between and have recorded three studio albums with another currently being worked on.
