Matt Joe Gow returns to the The Rochester Hotel in Fitzroy for a free show in support of his latest album 'Seven Years'. A diverse collection of songs, ranging from foot stomping rock 'n roll, Americana belters, through to the raw and sparse ballads.
A songwriter whose swagger has taken him from the dusty influences of Johnny Cash, Ryan Adams and others, to the swirling urban chime of electric, ambient pop . . . and now, back again.
2 full sets with band, the acoustic line up will be Matt's original 'Messenger' line up of Andrew Pollockl, Brendan Mitchell and Chris Elliott. Playing songs from 'Seven Years', revisiting songs from his debut.
