In what she says is the fulfillment of a lifelong dream, Ms McEntire has been officially inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.
Joining fellow inductees Bobby Braddock and Jean Shepard, Reba McEntire received her medallion at a Nashville ceremony on Monday night. It was an intimate ceremony attended by friends, family and former inductee Dolly Parton.
Reba found her place in the 'Modern Era Artist' category and the night was full of tributes to her music from the likes of Garth Brooks, Vince Gill, Kelly Clarkson, Martina McBride and Trisha Yearwood.
